Camping down South

Last weekend was mountain lakes and streams, this weekend was dry deserts. But equally fun! We camped in Moab with Dave, Kaylene, Mike and Sara, hiked to Delicate Arch at sunset, ate at yummy restaurants, and on Saturday did a 10 miler through the Needles District of Canyonlands. It was HOT but we had a fun time. We saw some cool stuff. And hey, we love these people! We have so much fun together.
Thanks Kaylene for being our photographer. :) Click the pic to see more.

Hi Ang and Klane! Hey, Jay, Jayme, Trey, and I love the fun slideshows that you have on your blog! How do you do that?! You'll have to teach me when we come up north to see you guys in a couple of weeks at your moms house! Jay misses strawberry days! He grew up in Pleasant Grove and so he's an old timer on the strawberry days events! Your camping pics are getting my little fam excited to go camping! We tried to go last weekend but it rained and we couldn't get up enough nerve to set up camp in mud! Love you guys! Jay and Lis

You don't know me, in fact, I don't know you, but I know April Darowski and through her I learned you are in the UVU dental hygiene program. I am interested in that and was wondering if I could get some pointers or words of advice about the program and all that it entails, PLEASE! You can post a comment on my blog themarkhamface.blogspot.com or e-mail me at alyssa_nan@hotmail.com. I would REALLY appreciate it. THANKS!

So, I'm sitting here at work, bored as can be, watching people with their groceries go through the check-out, and there's a lady wearing a Calle t-shirt! I thought of you and Klane...

Hello,

I was just searching using my name and found this. Is Klane his first name? It's our family's last name and I was curious if and how he got it as a first name.

thanks,
Jonathan Klane

Hi Jonathan,
Yes, his first name is Klane. He was named after a family friend with the same first name. A couple years ago he did a little research to find out where his name originated and found that it was a Scottish surname, but that isn't where his parents got it from.
