Who knew it took four hours to create 4 dozen cupcakes? But it was fun. And the result? Delicious. Thanks for the tip, Martha. And I apologize for running out of confectioner's sugar so my frosting wasn't as beautifully plump-looking as Billy's Bakery's frosting (it still tasted fantastic). Thanks to Annie Porter for referring to the recipe on her blog!

Let me just verify that (1) I am not a huge baked goods fan, and (2) these cupcakes were light, fluffy and epically scrumptious. Yeah, I know her, that's my wife.
Good job Angie, I am glad we share a love for cooking & baking! I love your recipes for the moment, the orzo stuffed peppers look so tasty I think I will make them soon!
You are perfect! what fun it is t see what you will do next!
I am so glad they worked out. I am impressed. It is making my mouth water. :) I love the heart shaped idea.
Ok yum!! I am so going to have to try these out. So was anything wrong with the original recipe online? Or was it just cause you forgot the half of flour? I wanna make sure I do it right cause those look darn good.
Can you PLEASE save me one???
dayna, the recipe they have online is right. the first time around i just watched the video of them making it and typed up the ingredients as they went because i didn't realize they had the full recipe online. On the video they didn't mention the regular flour. The recipe online is what turned out these beauties! :)
YUM! Yay, I'm so glad these ones turned out! They could be IN a Martha Stewart magazine with your photography skills to match the baking ones.
Congrats on the cute cupcakes, Cupcake! Have fun in Nephi tomorrow! Please please please give Sherri a giant hug for me!!
