movember is here!

You know when you get something new and you just can't wait to use it? I finally got my shiny red rain boots this week.

I've been wearing them around the house. You know, for baking, and other activities that may require rain boots. Like watching baseball. Or blogging.

In other news, Klane has joined the cause to fight cancer.
By growing a mustache.
For Movember.

He joined a team with some friends from work. The idea is, they all grow mustaches during the month of November, and random people can donate to their mustache growing efforts along the way. Amazing. Who thinks of this stuff? I am not in full support of the mustache, but I am in support of the cause. (It's a tricky situation.) Klane is clever to join something like this since he knows this is about as far as the mustache is going to get. Muah ha ha. I love my husband and his lack of facial hair. He's cute. Check out his awesome picture on his profile page on Movember.com. His mustache has already earned $30 for cancer. I'm so proud...!

Look at that stylish couple with the boots and mustache. Love it!

I totally wore my boots everywhere, and then Eli started wearing his boots everywhere. We looked pretty silly.

Ok, Ok... I had to start with a clean shave on Nov 1st. That's not even 4 full days of growth. If only this was an eyebrow growing competition...

Jimmy cannot grow facial hair...at all. It comes in weird patches, so Klane has him beat :)

I like you and your red rain boots.

This made me laugh so hard and that is a good thing so early in the a.m.!!! Loved this post and I challenge everyone of your family and friends to donate a little so our Amazing hair growing Klane can come out a winner in this little fund raising brilliant idea. I have heard of many ways to raise money for cancer, but this one is my new favorite. Way to go beautiful, shiny red rain boot girl and handsome, hairy, stache growing guy! Never a dull moment in that little apt. in NYC. I love it!! :0)

I love your cute boots! It makes me laugh that you wear them to bake and stuff, because I totally do the same thing. :)

Love the 'stache, too -- haha. Maybe I'll get Colby involved in that, too!

The comments on this post are almost as funny as the post itself. Don't feel bad Klane, your mustache is way more than I could ever grow. I have a chest hair that I've tenderly been growing for years now..okay it just came in last year but anyway...I've affectionately named the chest hair 'Elbert' and he is my pride and joy. I even put conditioner on him every now and then; we wouldn't want the little feller to dry up and fall out now would we. That would be a MAJOR blow to my manhood. One of these days I'll tear my shirt off and share Elbert with the fam. Until then, just imagine a very dark, manly chest hair with lots of character. (This is Ryan by the way, not Donna!)

Ok, so I think that's exactly how I would have pictured you when you're at home- standing at the counter, mixing bowl and spoon in hand. New picture now: you, mixing bowl, spoon, and BOOTS! The boots just complete the whole picture. This makes me happy. Too funny. I'm the same way with new things, especially shoes.

The moustache idea is so fun! I think I may just have to donate to the cause.
