First day of Spring

What a beautiful day it was! The high was 73. We started out with a 4 mile run through Central Park (training for the Half in Boston is on!). Afterward, we set out for a hard-earned Shack burger, only to discover what should've been obvious:

Of course the line was horrendously long. Everyone in New York seemed to be out today, and the Shack seems like the perfect place to grab some food to take to the park.

We skipped the 45 minute wait, grabbed take-out at Harry's Burritos and headed to the park.

There were so. many. people. in the park today! It was nuts! We found a semi-secluded spot in the Ramble to enjoy our lunch in the sun.

Loving the flowers and blue skies. I could get used to this.

This is sheer torture reading your blog!!! Sure, we have had some pretty weather the last couple of days, but NOTHING like 70 degrees. Oh my how jealous I am of you right now...

Spring has sprung! You've got blooms...I'm encouraging mine to open up. They are sooooo close. Maybe today I'll come home to flowers.

What a PERFECT Saturday! I'm so glad that the two of you got to get out and take advantage of that beautiful weather! I cannot get over that line at Shake Shack. I guess everyone had the same idea! That last picture cracks me up. I've said it before and, because I just can't help it, I'll say it again- SO CUTE!

Have you ever been to the Burrito Box (http://www.yelp.com/biz/burrito-box-new-york)? It's on 9th Avenue. I've never been to Harry's, so I can't say that it's better, but I can say that it's really, really good. Granted, I'd only get three things in my burrito, but let me tell you, those three things are really good. The fact that I, pickiest eater on the planet, like it is really saying something. Anyway, your mention of burritos reminded me of it and now I've gone off on a tangent about Burrito Box. Sorry!

I've heard good things about Harry's (from Lindsay:). It was crazy out on Saturday. Everyone just came spewing out of their apartments. It was a good day!
