it's only a little bit of pink.

Michelle's baby shower was a huge success! Everything was beautiful, the food was yummy and the company was great! So many people came to show their love for Michelle. She got the cutest presents - so many adorable baby girl clothes! Every few minutes the din of female voices was punctuated by a loud group "Awwwww!" whenever Michelle opened another cute item.

Thank you so much to everyone who came and everyone who helped us pull off this celebration for Michelle (you know who you are!). We couldn't have done it without lots of helping hands. Thanks to all who came to support Michelle. And thanks Michelle for having a baby! We are sooo excited! Especially after our pink overdose and cuteness overload. We can't wait to welcome this little girl into the world.

What a wonderful day, and yes we are so grateful to be welcomig a new baby girl into our family! That was one great party and we all worked together to make it happen. Even cute Michelle worked on making all the fantastic details come to life. We had as much fun planning it as we did making it happen. Oh thank you Angie for all you do!

What a darling shower! I got a diaper cake from a friend but I have to say, it was not nearly as gorgeous as the one you guys made! Holy cow! My sister made some of those beautiful pom/flower poof things too, so cute! I wish I'd had you at my shower to photograph everything. I was the only person taking photos and that's pretty hard when you're the "guest of honor" so I know I missed a lot.

Three things that I love among many about this post:

1. Your famous farfalle/spinach/amazing salad that i looooooove.
2. "It's only a little bit of pink."
3. BABIES!!

Thanks for putting the pictures up so quickly, Ang! What a BEAUTIFUL baby shower, and it looks like it was so much fun! I hear you ladies did a great job throwing the shower :-) And meanwhile, Michelle is such a cute little (emphasis on the "little!") mom-to-be. I can't wait till she has a sweet baby girl in all those cute pink clothes!

Ok, it turned out way even better than I imagined. SO ADORABLE! I love all of the pink, and all of the tissue paper pom poms, and all of the food looks so good! You all did an amazing job. How wonderful that so many people could come together to support your sister-in-law and her baby girl. I'm definitely feeling the love.

And of course your pictures are fantastic. That last one of Michelle holding up the cute little babies booties is my favorite. How precious!

It's pictures of baby showers like this that make me not want to throw a shower ever...YOU GUYS DID AN INCREDIBLE JOB!!! I love the diaper cake. Whoever thought of that is very creative and deserves all the praise in the world.

How fun that you got to visit the folks and see friends and family. Trips home are the best!

Aww Angie, you are way too kind! Thank you so much for all of your sweet comments!

To answer your questions, no, I don't have a wide angle lens. I only use one lens, a 28-80mm. I don't remember exactly what the focal length was on that one picture, but I'm guessing probably 28. I'm quite the minimalist when it comes to photography. I try to use as little equipment as possible. As much as I sometimes want to get a wide angle lens, I'm trying really hard to discipline myself and get better with what I already have before I get more stuff. And I find that the longer I go without something, the less I end up wanting it anyway.

Wow, that was a long response to two little questions!

It may be "only a little bit of pink" (good one, Angie!), but WOW, it's pretty obvious that this darling baby shower emanated a whole LOT of LOVE! Michelle's (and Kyle's) baby is going to be one lucky little girl!

Amazing photos Angie! They look like they came straight from a decorating/gourmet food magazine. Just beautiful.

I just saw something that I had to share with you: http://www.vimeo.com/9770170 Read the description. It totally reminded me of you. You see, married people are allowed to get cute videos, too!

What did you serve as your punch? I'm in charge of punch at my soon-to-be-sister-in-law's bridal shower and I can't decide what to do. Yours looks cute and tasty.
