morning on 62nd street

I walk down this lovely street in the historic district of the Upper East Side every day. I think it's just beautiful, especially in the morning. I finally stopped to take a couple photos.

Now I will recognize it when we come out to visit your office. Dad is so excited to see your Ortho office in NYC. Your pictures really are worth a thousand words. Thanks for a lovely early morning stroll on the streets of the City. Hey what about the policman on horses. Is that post on its way soon?

That is such a beautiful neighborhood! Love the fresh flowers and the gorgeous architecture... I am so jealous!!

Do you ever stop by the Hermes boutique or grab a bite at Burger Heaven during lunch?

Such a pretty street! I love that picture of the fresh flowers. I would be tempted to buy a few every day!

By the way, I sat by a lifetime New Yorker on my flight the other day and he told me that I needed to stop by Chelsea Market Baskets next time I'm in the city. Apparently they have fresh Belgian chocolate flown in every Wednesday/Thursday (yum!). Since it could be awhile before I'm in NYC, I thought I should pass the tip along to you :-)

Your pictures make me miss NYC. And that is not an easy feat.

Katherine, I haven't seen Hermes boutique, I'll have to stop by! But the girls at work are always getting lunch at Burger Heaven! Right around the corner. I walk by there every morning. Their fries are pretty good (that's all I've tried, when coworkers share).

Ash, I think I might have gone there! I went to Chelsea Market and there was a store with a million baskets. HOW did I miss the chocolate??!! I must go back and find it. :) Thanks for the tip!

Pretty!

I didn't know there was a historic district within the Upper East Side! And I live there! You'll have to tell me where it is.
