win, win

I did a good deed for a friend yesterday. Luckily for me, the "good deed" just happened to involve attending a posh release party for a book by one of my favorite photographers.

Mallory sent me on a mission to the release party for famous New York based photographer Rodney Smith's newest book, The End. Please take a moment and check out his work, he is an amazing, inspiring and very famous photographer. Mal is his biggest fan and the least I could do was walk the two blocks to Bloomingdales after work and get a picture with him.

It turned out to be so fun. Mr. Smith was a very nice, personable guy with a sweet New York accent, and he introduced me to some of his assistants who are LDS and went to BYU! You can read the details at Mallory's blog here.

You're going straight to heaven. Straight there.

(How do you get your pictures so big?)

I just took your dad on a blog tour before he headed out for his BYU meetings and he loved it. He is so happy to see that his daughter is doing so well and loving life!

I upload my pictures for the blog to picasa in the big size (on my blog it's 500 pixels wide) then copy the link from the picasa photo and paste it into my post.

What a cool opportunity!

Angie, may I say-- you are just a "good-deed-doer" naturally. You inspire me. (How fun to HAVE to stop by Bloomingdales to perform this good deed!)
