My parents are here! I'm so happy. They flew in this afternoon and I met them at their hotel. We wasted no time and visited Magnolia Bakery on the way back to my apartment for some cupcakes and hot chocolate. (For the record, the oreo cupcake Klane and I shared from Crumbs was probably better than these ones from Magnolia. Just sayin.) Then it was off to the Redsox/Yankees game to see our Sox pull out the second win in the series! It was good to be a Boston fan last night. We had so much fun with my parents talking and eating lots of "game food". I'm so excited for the rest of the week with them!

I've got to be honest... I heard a lot about Magnolia's Bakery, went in the other day, looked around, and then walked out...empty handed!! Wasn't too impressed, so I'm happy you hear you felt Crumbs was better.

And oh yeah, you can laugh all you want at the gas story because I know I have, as pathetic as it may have been at the time. I love you. You are great.
How exciting to have your parents come to visit you! It looks like you're all having a great time. I go to Crumbs all the time, but I've never been to Magnolia. Maybe it's just the fact that I'm terrible when it comes to trying new things, but I've just always had a feeling that Crumbs is better. I was thinking about maybe going one day but now that I've heard your review, I think I'll just stick to Crumbs.
