Abbie and I had the most fun girls night on Friday. I love that girl. I just knew I would. I think we might have been friends in the pre-existence. (I'm only sort of joking.)
And what could make an evening more filled with girly fun than a picnic in the park, followed by dessert at a chocolate-themed restaurant?! Max Brenner and his 14 page dessert menu definitely did not disappoint. Neither did Abbie's pb&j's and fresh market produce. Neither did the four hours of girl talk. Thanks Abbie, I had so much fun!!
We will definitely be getting together again very soon.

Whoa...i love chocolate. So fun to have girls night out with chocolate.
I love this post and I am so grateful for Abbie. Can you believe what blogging has done for you! What a great resource. Love and miss you and really missed keeping up with you this week. We are back now and catching up. You know how that goes.
ANGIE! I love you! You are so nice. It really was so much fun. And you are such a good blogger. I totally forgot to talk about the smell. Ahhh, the smell... And your pictures actually look good. Oh yeah, you are an amazing photographer.
High-five for a great post. I can't want to play again!
I really just can't read your blog!! It makes me so sad! We loooove Max Brenner. Discovered it while visiting the city and it was always our go-to place when we wanted a special treat or had guests in town. We even have a set of "hug mugs" and "alice cups" because they're just too fun. If you didn't have it, I recommend the Churro Fondue next time ya go!
Ang, I love girls night out! You and Abby are perfect friends huh! Hey, this post had two of my FAVORITE things: Chocolate and Scarfs! I am a major scarf girl! I don't ever get too stylish, but I have a million scarfs and wear them constantly..but not for style...just to keep my long skinny neck warm!!!!!!!! Oh, and I usually have at least 3 different places in the house where chocolate is stashed away...all for ME! I think I feel like an addict when I tell you about my hiding places!
Hey Angie! I found you from Abbie's blog. I can't believe you guys are in New York! So fun. I hope everything is going well. You look great!

How divine-- girl talk AND chocolate!!
Your girls night out sounds like soooo much fun! And AHHHH, I LOVE Max Brenner! I went with a big group of friends back in May to the one in Union Square. The food was so good. Being the picky eater I am, I requested a very dulled down version of the portobello burger- just a mushroom on a bun. My friends made fun of me the whole night, but oh my goodness gracious, it was SO GOOD- the best mushroom of my life. You don't even have to bother telling me about how weird I am. Also, the fries were dusted in chili and cocoa powders- surprisingly delicious! So what I'm trying to tell you is that next time you go, it would be well worth your while to have some dinner, too. It's very yummy. So are the desserts, of course. You already know all about those. It's really a chocolate lover's heaven.
I'm so glad to hear that you enjoyed it so much. It's so fun that you've met such a great friend like your Abbie. Friends like that are so rare, so that's very special. I'm very happy for you:)
I do believe that my comment may be longer than your post. This is a little bit sad.
Gotta keep that Ankie-Losen warm Lis! Funny Comment.
Hey Ang, I totally know what would brighten your days there in New York. Just tell me what your favorite color is, if you are partial to male or female animals, and if your apartment mgmt allows pets. I'll take care of the rest.
