Just chillin

Today was my first Monday off. I changed my schedule around a bit and will now be working Tuesday through Friday. It worked out perfectly for my office and for me too! Long weekends!

It was a nice, relaxing day. I got to sleep in with Klane and kiss him on his way out the door for work. I spent the morning cleaning the apartment, putting dinner together for later, and reading blogs. I spent the afternoon at Abbie's place with her and the kids, talking and eating too many cookies. (!) Tonight: delicious chicken enchiladas (this is the third time I've made them in a few weeks, they're that good) and The Bachelor on the couch with my sweetie.

I could get used to this. :)

And because apparently I can't post without a photo, here is an unrelated shot of beautiful UES mansions on a lunchtime walk last week. They make me feel like I've gone back in time.

but really, you are too nice and too good to be miserable every tuesday.
(ps - those buildings remind me of luxe! too bad i still hate the ending...)

So lucky to have such an amazing schedule!

AND ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I JUST finished watching the bachelor and I can't believe Alli left! She was my FAVORITE! What did you think about that???? I haven't even ever been into this show until like two episodes ago and now I am hooked!

Sara, yes! Luxe! that is totally what I think of when I walk through there. It's actually the same area where it's set. In fact, Carolina Broad's house might have been on one of those very streets... ;)

Ashley - Stupid Bachelor! But I think Ali made the right choice. If he wasn't committed enough to her to beg her to stay, she was right to leave. I was annoyed with Jake. He's so non-committal. I know he kind of has to be for the sake of the show and keeping the ending a surprise, but come on, there are only a few weeks left. He has to have SOME idea of who he's choosing. Lame.

Oh, Ali is SO coming back. I just know it. If she is really gone for good then I don't care who he chooses anymore; I feel like the other girls were just around for comparison. I'm glad we have all these Bachelor fans :)

I am so out of the Bachelor scene! But anyhow! Happy Monday anyway. We refilled our 72 hour kits for FHE, yes how exciting, but all the old contents were so outdated, we may have died eating them in an emergency!! Now that we have fresh treats I almost want a little emergency or something. Maybe we will eat them for General Conference and then re-stock! In October, not April! tee hee
Love ya, and glad you had a great day!
Love the picture! Wow!!

I had do much fun! I know I love hanging out with you, but whenever we hang out I'm always like "I love Angie! She is so much fun!" in a how-can-someone-be-this-cool? kind of way. You're so much fun!!! I'm so excited for our many dates to come! Yayay for Mondays!

Your new schedule sounds like a dream come true! Every time that I have a Monday off from school I ask myself why we don't always have Mondays off. I never get tired of 3-day weekends. I'm very jealous, which is code for I am very happy for you. You're happy, and that makes me happy:)
