Saturday.

Took a picture for a tourist. Got the same one taken in return.

Ate messy, delicious burgers and fries at Five Guys.
(Thanks Kaylene for the gift card!)

Walked through our neighborhood.

(He's cute.)

Took a picture in front of my current favorite place on our street.

I baked cookies for our Sunday school class.

Klane prepared the lesson.
Or secretly took a nap behind his computer and sleeping bag.
He's a sneaky one, that husband.

But I am sneaky, too.

Oh my goodness, you two are SO CUTE! I just can't stand it! I'm happy to see that you had such a wonderful Saturday.

Those cookies are killing me. It is way too late for me to be feeling hungry. Your food pictures do this to me every single time, I swear. This is torture! I think it's pretty obvious that they look very good and that I will be making them very soon.

I need these yummy chocolate fings! I made healthy blueberry muffins this morning, but I can see that these chocolate things would have been much more yummy!

Thanks girl! Its a template from Wordpress, but I picked it for the simple look which is why I loved yours as well.

All the pictures you post up are so cute also! And thanks for the link, that video was beautiful, I will definitely be checking out that site!

Haha, Klane is clever. So great.
What is the hype behind the LOVE sculptures? I don't get it.

Mallory, I'm not sure. Probably just cause they're "cute". We probably never wouldve taken our picture there if the guy we'd just taken one for hadn't offered. We felt obligated. Haha.

Klane, I know we have only met I think once, but I'm concerned about your hair. Is it a control thing? Is it a New York thing? Is it an advertising thing?

Hahaha Alyssa, your comment really made me laugh!! The truth is that over Christmas break we both got haircuts, and when it came time to chop off Klane's long hair, he was totally willing. The one that got cold feet about his hair was ME!! :) I wasn't ready to let it go quite yet. Maybe it's because I'm afraid he's going to go bald like his dad so I've got to appreciate it and keep as much hair as we can get while we still can! Haha.

Such a fun post! I LOVE the pic of you in front of Best Yet Market! That would make a cute ad. (They should offer you a week's worth of free groceries, don't you think??)

Super cute pic of you and Klane in front of the LOVE sculpture... I'm thinking 2010 Christmas card perhaps? Or Valentine's Day card 2011? ;) Actually, you guys should go back and have another shot taken of you doing a dip kiss-- just a little fun PDA, ya know?

PS- I love your hair analysis/argument! Makes sense.

Angie, thank you SO MUCH for all of the sweet comments that you leave for me. It means the world to me. You don't have to say anything, but you always do and I always appreciate it. Sometimes I forget to thank you, but please know that I am always thankful. You're such a sweet person and I feel so grateful to have gotten to know you a little bit through your blog. I seriously cannot wait until we can finally meet in person!

I hope that you're having a good day!

Katherine, you are so right! The only photo I'd really want of us in front of the love sculpture would feature us kissing (preferably with a dip), and that is just not something you can do when some stranger unexpectedly demands to return your favor by snapping a photo. "Do you mind if we totally make out while you take it? Ok, thanks!" Haha. Someday when we walk by there with someone we know well enough to photograph us kissing... then we will get the right picture. :)

So you want to go back to that "love" sculpture with a friend and take a cute pic. Well, your in luck. How does this week sound? Pat and I are flying to NYC tomorrow.
